Rooted Beginnings
This perinatal session is designed around you—your history, your goals, your concerns as you prepare to welcome your baby and step into this new version of yourself. Think of it as your 1:1 in-home maternity class.
We’ll meet where you’re most comfortable, in your home, on a day and time that truly fits your life,.
Whether this is your first baby or you’re seeking a gentler, more grounded experience this time around, I’ll tailored this session entirely to your preferences, questions, and needs. We’ll explore what to expect during pregnancy and birth, how to prepare for the fourth trimester, and how to ease your newborn’s transition into the world. This is your judgment-free space to be curious… ask anything, ease uncertainties, and gather the knowledge that helps you step into parenthood with clarity and confidence.
Topics We May Explore Together
Nursing Consulting & Nursery Set-Up
Creating a calming, functional space that flows with your family’s rhythms. From layout ideas to product vetting, we’ll ensure your nursery feels both peaceful and practical.
Unboxing & Organization
Support with sorting gifts and supplies, washing and folding tiny clothes, and setting up systems that help you avoid the overwhelming “postpartum scramble.”
Hospital Guidance & Navigation
Support in choosing a birth location and provider, understanding hospital norms, adjusting expectations, crafting birth plans and deciding which additional classes or support options best fit your goals.
Registry & Product Recommendations
Evidence-based suggestions for baby/maternal gear, feeding tools, postpartum essentials, pumps, and the things that actually matter—simplified for your sanity.
Feeding Foundations
Compassionate, IBCLC-guided education around breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding. We’ll set realistic expectations, discuss common challenges, and build a plan that aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
Newborn Behavior & Neurodevelopmental Guidance
Evidence-based education on newborn communication and early brain development—feeding cues, reflexes, sleep patterns, stress signals, regulation strategies, bathing, diapering and sensory needs. You’ll learn how to read your baby’s rhythms through a neurodevelopmental lens, supporting bonding, regulation, and early learning from day one.
Bedrest Support (If Needed)
Gentle, in-home care designed to bring comfort, ease, and peace of mind—so you can focus on resting while I help you take care of the details.
Throughout our session, you’ll have a nurturing space where no question is too small and every feeling is welcome. My role as your support person is to help you enter birth and parenthood feeling informed, prepared, and deeply supported—with a plan that reflects your values…not someone else’s checklist.
Think of this as a more personal, grounded, and heart-centered version of a hospital maternity, newborn, and feeding class—customized entirely for you and your growing family.
